The Rai Collar.
Precision-crafted in BioThane for dogs that live outside. Built for salt water, trail, rain, and real use. Holds its shape and finish through years of wear.
Built for the Bond.
The Rai Collar is the debut piece from Rai Collective. It is precision-crafted in premium BioThane, a coated webbing material that performs in conditions where leather cannot. Salt water, mud, trail, rain. Daily use by a dog that actually lives outside.
This is not a fashion collar. It is not designed for the shelf. It is designed for a dog who works hard and whose owner chooses materials not for how they look on day one, but for how they hold up in year three.
Every component of the Rai Collar is chosen with the same standard. Solid brass hardware that does not chip, plate, or corrode with normal use. BioThane that holds its color and shape across years of wear. A latte stone mark that is stamped, not printed. Stitching and finishing that reflects the care this design deserves.
The Rai Collar is available in Drop 01. It is limited by design. Join the waitlist to be among the first to carry it forward.
A Mark That Means Something.
The latte stone is the ancient pillar of CHamoru civilization. Cut from limestone and coral on Guåhan, Rota, Tinian, and Saipan, the latte stone was the foundation of ancestral houses. It was not decorative. It was load-bearing. It was built to stand for centuries.
The CHamoru people built on latte stones because they understood that what you raise should outlast you. Every piece of their architecture was an act of intention, not just function.
The latte stone mark on the Rai Collar is not an aesthetic choice. It is a declaration of standard. Whatever we build should hold. Whatever name we carry should be carried properly.
The Sinåhi Name Tag.
Every Rai Collar ships with the Sinåhi Name Tag, a crescent moon shaped name tag in solid brass, engraved with your dog's name and attached to the collar via brass links.
The Sinåhi is a crescent moon shaped ornament from CHamoru culture, traditionally worn as a symbol of status and identity. The name comes from the CHamoru word for new moon. We chose the crescent moon form for the name tag because a name is identity. It is the mark that says who this dog is. Engraved in brass, it carries that identity with permanence and intention.
Built to Last. Easy to Maintain.
One of the reasons we chose BioThane is the simplicity of care. A collar built for an active dog should not require a maintenance routine to stay in condition.
- Wipe clean with a damp cloth after heavy use or saltwater exposure.
- Rinse with fresh water after ocean swims or muddy trail sessions.
- Dry at room temperature. Do not expose to prolonged direct heat sources.
- Polish brass hardware periodically with a brass cloth to maintain its warmth and luster.
- Do not machine wash. The BioThane material does not require it and washing may stress the hardware connections over time.
